Sadie was born in November and joined our household in January 2026. I decided to wait a while before writing this to see who she became. Sadie is jet black leading to “where is Sadie” when she is somewhere asleep. She is incredibly fast, absolutely perfect in proportion and has boundless energy.
Having had two previous Schnauzers that lived into their later teens, I was opposed to having another dog. The concept of going through the end days again was more than I wanted to bear. We discussed it and my wife prevailed. There is nothing that compares to the love and joy Sadie has brought into our lives.
Sadie is a “toy” Schnauzer and weighs 8 pounds. Her physical size is small but her personality makes up for it. My wife said dogs will choose one person to be their primary human. That is me. I am very happy about that now.
Sadie loves to walk on the leash and we go over 1 mile together every day at 5 am. Then we have mini walks during the day
Sadie has filled a hole in our hearts we had forgotten was there. She is a loving and kind soul. Last week our daughter had to take her dog in for surgery. It was serious. My daughter and kids were very scared. Sadie didn’t leave her side all day. She focused her love on our daughter. She knew.
In summary Sadie is a beautiful, smart, loving, outgoing dog who loves her people and every minute of her life. That is contagious. What a wonderful way to be in the world. God created Sadie but Tamara (Schnauzer Splendor) brought her into the world. There simply are not enough stars to rate either
With my sincere appreciation,
Mark
